Valarie Warshawsky Simms directs finance, accounting and risk management. Valarie previously served as CFO for Paragon Homes; as VP of Finance for Western Pacific Housing; as Director of Finance for The Anden Group; and she earned her certification in public accounting at KPMG. With over 16 years experience in real estate finance, Valarie has funded in excess of $1 billion in financing and has supervised the acquisition of several hundred properties for development. She has worked on a variety of deal structures that include traditional bank debt at the project and entity levels and equity joint ventures, mezzanine loans and public offerings for both debt and equity. Valarie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business-Economics from UCLA.
